Grapes variety: 100% Tempranillo, coming from mostly old vineyards, aged between 60 and 100 years. All of them have a low yield.
Certificate of Origin: D. O. Ribera del Duero.
Place of Production: La Horra, Burgos - Spain.
Manual harvest and strict grape selection.
Preludio de Sei Solo is made with grapes from 3 different villages, treating each batch individually. For the ageing process, half of the barrels used are old ones, to maintain the freshness of the fruit and avoid excess wood at the olfactory and gustatory level.
Aged for 19 months in French oak barrels. Subsequent ageing of at least 12 months in bottle.
Alcohol: 14.5%
Tasting note synopsis: Purplish red colour. Intense and fruity. Fine, well-integrated tannins. Elegant, with persistence in the mouth.
