LA VAL - Albariño
White wine, young.
Grapes variety: 100% Albariño.
Certificate of Origin: Rías Baixas.
Place of production: Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain.
This wine is made from Albariño grapes, exclusively from our own vineyards, located in the D.O. Rías Baixas in Galicia, in the Northwest of Spain. The wine is a combination of grapes from our estates: “Taboexa” (13 Ha.), the highest at 300 meters above sea level, and “Arantei” (35 Ha.) at 30 meters above sea level. The combination of these vineyards gives the wine fruity notes, together with a mineral hint.
Manual harvesting, and strict control at the reception area.
Maceration of the grapes for 6 hours.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 2-3 weeks.
Alcohol: 12,5%
Awards: Penín 90 points (2022)
Optimal serving temperature: 8 - 10 ºC.
Tasting note synopsis: Intense straw yellow colour. Lemon, Herbs, and fine flower aromas. Fresh and complex, with citrus notes and a long-lasting flavour.
Pairing: Perfect with all kinds of seafood and fish, as well as fresh cheese, foie, chicken, rice dishes, and pasta.
