Dehesa Peñalba, located on the famous "Golden Mile of the Duero River", is a Pago Wine, the highest qualification contemplated by Spanish legislation, comparable to the French "Grand Cru".
It is a Protected Designation of Origin limited to around twenty Spanish wineries whose soils, climate and location make it possible to obtain exceptional wines.
Ageing: 20 months in French oak barrels.
Alcohol: 14,5 %
Serving temperature: 16 - 18 ºC
Tasting note: Bright cherry colour. Intense and complex nose. Leather, cocoa, and a mixture of ripe fruit with liquorice. Great balance of fruit, acidity and tannins. Tasty and with a very long finish.
Pairing: recommended for stews, red meat and game.
