Dehesa Peñalba, located on the famous "Golden Mile of the Duero River", is a Pago Wine, the highest qualification contemplated by Spanish legislation, comparable to the French "Grand Cru".
It is a Protected Designation of Origin limited to around twenty Spanish wineries whose soils, climate and location make it possible to obtain exceptional wines.
Ageing: 16 months in French oak barrels.
Alcohol: 14 %
Serving temperature: 17 - 18 ºC
Tasting note: Deep red colour, violet reflects. Black fruits and spicy aromas, with caramel and mineral secondary notes. Voluminous, fresh and tasty. Well structured and balanced. Smooth tannins and long finish.
Pairing: recommended for stews, red meat and game.
