Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo, from old vineyards (between 45 and 55 years old), grown as bush vines.
Designation of Origin: D.O. Ribera del Duero.
Place of production: Castrillo de la Vega, Burgos - Spain.
Manual harvest, followed by a selection of the best bunches on a sorting table.
Aging for 14 months in barrels of American oak (45%), French oak (45%), and Hungarian oak (10%). Subsequent rounding in the bottle for at least another 12 months.

Serving temperature: 15-16 ºC
Tasting Note Synopsis: very lively cherry red, with violet details. On the nose, compote fruits stand out (currant, blackberry, plum). Balsamic, spicy, toffee, and leather notes, from its long ageing in barrels. Powerful palate, very fruity, with well-integrated tannins. Surprisingly long finish.
