La Val "Sur Lies" is only made in years of exceptional harvest quality, when it meets the optimal conditions to produce great wines for aging.
This impressive wine is aged for 3 years on fine lees, each year for three months, having continuous batonnages. The first year, the lees from their harvest are incorporated, and the following two years, the lees from successive harvests. It is an arduous process, only suitable for outstanding vintages, which results in a wine with great aromatic intensity, full body, and long persistence.

Serving Temperature: 10 - 12 ºC
Tasting Note Synopsis: bright straw-yellow colour with expressive green tones. Intense and pleasant aromas of flowers, white ripe fruits and a balsamic hint. Its palate is complex and creamy, with fruity flavours and laurel notes, together with a mineral backbone. Its acidity makes it fresh, rich and very persistent, characters only found in the best Albariños.
Pairing: Drink with fish cooked in the oven or with sauces, seafood, as well as fresh and medium cured cheeses, foie gras and poultry.
